When you consider that Muslims revere Jesus as a prophet, is he so mean that he'll burn them in hell anyway?
Suppose you have terminal cancer and are about to die. A cure is available and has been offered to you by the doctor who invented it. But you refuse it and choose to die anyway. Is the doctor mean and cruel? After all, you did recognize him as a doctor. Jesus has paid the price of sin for us, and "the wages of sin is death". He freely offers His salvation to all. But it is up to us whether to receive Him as Lord and Savior or not. We have free wills and He does not force us. As for believing He is prophet, that is not enough. There have been many prophets over the centuries, none of them qualified to be the perfect sacrifice for sin. And actually He doesn't really give you that option. He makes very clear that He claims to be God. So you're logically left with either labelling Him as crazy, a liar, or telling the truth. Saying He's just a good teacher or a good prophet is an option He doesn't leave open.
