How many seconds did the media give to Obama's medal error vs weeks given to Palin's Revere error?

I know that Palin was technically right. My take is that she knew the Paul Revere story and simply transposed some words while her mind was on something else-not a hard thing to do when you don't have a teleprompter following you around. Everybody does that-all the more when the media has you under watchful eye day and night.
