I need help with a job/application situation?

Okay so I have been job searching since the beginning of April and I haven't even gotten one interview yet. Anyways so I have put in about 50 applications in my area since I started looking, including online. Holiday Inn was hiring at the time and I was very interested in that job. But no one has called (this was a few weeks ag). I saw today that they put the ad back in the paper. I was just wondering if I should call them and ask about it? And what I should say? I am not good at this sorta stuff and I haven't had any previous work history so please help! Thank you soooooooo much in advance. God bless!
