Why did Sarah Palin not know the story of Paul Revere?

I dont really care. And honestly, she got the general idea of it. I personally thought that it was hilarious on Colbert though. He did a fantastic skit that made me cry...it was so funny. Gotta love wikipedia vandalism, mechanical horses, and bells.
