Need Kitten Advice! please help... re homing?

I feel horrible because i took this 2 month old kitten away from its sisters and mother. Although he seems fine and loves me, do you think he misses his family? I just feel super bad about it. He is off his mothers milk, but i just took him out of his environment and put him in my home today... just any tips or advice. Also i have a 1 1/2 year old male tom cat and he looks like he wants to kill this kitten, even hissed at the kitten, how do i make them get used to each other, i fear for this kittens life.
